Check out Ashanti new video for her next single “Good Good”. I think the video is cute and ya know she had to feature her boo Nelly in there to show all the haters they’re still together lol . Despite Ashanti’s bad attitude lately I actually like her album, there’s a couple songs on there I’m really feeling including this one. This song was produce by Jermaine Dupri and I guess that’s why Nelly hasn’t left because she say she got that “Good Good” lol.

Rap-Up decided to do a double sided cover with Nelly on one side, and the new supreme’s Keri Hilson,Teyana Taylor, and Solange Knowles sharing the other. Nelly talks about haters, the state of hip hop, and his relationship with R&B singer Ashanti. Hopefully he’s not giving the same ole were just friends speech. Also the issue introduces you to three new comers to the music scene. Rap-Up is calling them the 2008 “Brave New Girls”. Although Keri and Solange aren’t new the scene, both have been around quite sometime doing there thing in other areas of the industry.

Who will win on August 19th when both albums drop Nelly or Jeezy? Nelly has sold over 40 million records world wide, but Jeezy got that banging single “Put On For My City” which I bobbing my head and waving my hands too as I’m writing this post. I’m listening to the radio and it’s playing on the radio right now lol. Jeezy’s definitely getting more radio play than Nelly is. But who will sell more records that’s the million dollar question. Do you think either of them will do what Lil Wayne did and sell a milli?
Nelly, Ashanti, Akon, & Keri Hilson All On The Set

Nelly was recently spotted shooting a video for his new single “Body On Me” featuring Ashanti and Akon. Speaking of Ashanti looks like she got over that attitude she had last weekend at Floyd Mayweather retirement party. I see she’s real happy up under her boo Nelly. The video was shot in Las Vegas at the Red Rock Casino resort and spa. I went to Vegas last year and stayed at this hotel and it is off the chain. Only down side is it’s not on the strip, and you know I like to be where the action is. But this hotel was so nice they had everything you can possibly think of inside and out. If you’re going to Vegas you got to check this hotel out I promise you won’t be disappointed. I can honestly say the hotel makes up for not being on the strip. Twana Tells Her Thoughts On The 2008 Bet Awards

Although I missed Usher performance I’ve been reading some of the other blogs to see what they had to say and lot of them are saying that his performance could have been better.
I really can’t comment because I came in on the show when Jennifer and Terrance Howard was on stage.
Before I get into the performances I have to give a huge shout out to Kanye West, he won two awards last night and each time he went up to accept his award hew showed love to another artist. First award he acknowledges Lil Wayne and brought him up on stage with him I thought that was a really good look. Then for the second award he shouted out T-Pain. Way to go Kanye that was a really good look to show love to another artist. When Neicy Nash came on stage and brought those white kids out I could not breath I was laughing too hard.

Keyshia Cole looked absolutely gorgeous during her performance last night. I’m so use to Keyshia getting on stage with a mic and just singing. So to see her come out singing and dancing she really stepped her game up.
And her performance was off da chain when she came out the sky singing Heaven Sent and then change outfits and bring out Lil Kim to sing Let It Go, Keyshia did her thang last night. I’m glad to see Frankie doing so well she had me cracking up when her and Neffie introduced Keyshia, you know Frankie had to through that Holla in there I was just waiting on her to say man down lol. Naw but foreal they did a good job.

Chris Brown performance was ok until Ciara came out then I was all in she turned his performance out.
That dance routine was off the chain. After watching that performance I’m about to go and register in somebody’s dance and yoga class.
Ciara has inspired me home girl threw down I think she even had Rihanna looking at her sideways lol.
