A few weeks ago singer/reality star K Michelle accused Mimi’s new boyfriend of being on the down low. She also said that he was using Mimi to be a part of the show. (Click here if you missed that drama)
Well Mimi’s boyfriend Nikko, wasn’t cool with K Michelle comments and decided to speak out. In a recent interview with our blog buddies over at Cotten Kandi, he opened up about his relationship with Mimi, his thoughts on K Michelle as well as her comments about him being on the down low.
Check out a few excerpts from the interview below:
On his relationship with Love & Hip Hop’s Mimi Faust:
We’ve known each other for 12 years and we recently started rekindling. We recently saw each other so I say about a good four or five months we been going out.
His thoughts on K Michelle:
You have to look at [it]; she really doesn’t have a male figure in her life and a lot of issues even on the show with bullying. She has war with anybody. She doesn’t really know me. We met twice for her to make those rumors and opinion. That’s what it is her opinion. She don’t really know me–it could be to take blows at Mimi because Mimi is happy. I see it as a home wrecker and this is what she is known for. Her words won’t validate me so I don’t care. I do have a gay family member and for her to make those comments is a strike on the gay community. I don’t have anything against gay people and I’m not gay.
On K Michelle saying he’s Down Low:
I want to address them by saying I’m not gay. I’m not bisexual and I’m not on the down low. I’m a straight man and heterosexual. Anybody who knows me, and if you want to do your research you can check all this out. There’s a slew of guys that know me and know what I’m about. The way I raise myself is that I’m a street kid from Brooklyn. So anybody that knows me from Brooklyn, they can tell you my resume.
On how he makes his money:
I’m focusing on, right now, just building my brand. My production company is called Voxy Music. I got two other acts that I’m signing to me right now. But right now I’m focused on the Nikko and Johnny project, which I just shot two videos for and we’re putting that out. We got the first video scheduled to be released in about two weeks. That’s what I’m focused on right now, the Nikko and Johnny project. It’s gonna hit the airwaves soon.
On if he’ll be on the upcoming season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta:
I’m absolutely on the show. You’re going to have to wait until the show comes on to see what I will be doing. I’m doing a lot of things but I can’t give away the story lines.

This guy is definitely thirsty and looking for an opportunity if you ask me. First off why is he even doing interviews when the show hasn’t even aired yet???? Which has me questioning if he is really with Mimi for the right reasons???? Something tells me he just using her to be a part of the show…
