After my bff in my head Beyonce’s documentary “Life Is But A Dream” aired on HBO her father Matthew Knowles spoke out saying how proud he was of his daughter.
In a sit down interview with CNN Matthew refused to talk about Beyonce as a mother or his role as Blue Ivy’s grandfather. However he did talk about the controversy surrounding Beyonce’s Presidential Inauguration performance as well as how proud he was of after her documentary “Life Is But A Dream” aired.
“I’m proud to see her as a mother. I know this was something very important to her and to see her hold Blue Ivy—that’s something very special. I have a picture that no one else will ever get to see of her holding Blue Ivy. You can see the joy in her face.”
The interviewer also asked Matthew if his daughter was treated unfairly because of the lip-syncing controversy and he stated:
“Beyonce is a performer, I’ve been in entertainment for 20 years, there is no such thing as fair.”

Regardless of what happened between Beyonce & Matthew at the end of the day he’s still her father. And as her father he has every right to be proud of his daughter…..
