After a spectacular performance in true Beyonce fashion, my bff in my head and Blue Ivy’s mama penned a personal letter to Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson as well as Kelly and Michelle for their performance during the Superbowl as well.
She also posted a video of her Superbowl Diary reflecting on her journey as she drove through the New Orleans French Quater and made her way to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
“I felt very proud because I know this is my legacy,” says Bey as “Halo” plays in the background. “I’m really happy it’s in the South. I’m happy that it’s close to home. I spent many car rides coming to New Orleans from Texas, so it feels nice to be where my family is from, Louisiana. It’s kinda like everything is coming back around full circle.
If you recall back in 2002, Beyonce was on the set of her very first pepsi commercial and spoke this moment into existence.
I’m so happy my first Pepsi commercial will be played during the Super Bowl. And actually last year my first movie was played during the Super Bowl and now this year, my first commercial. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger and better and better.
I’m a firm believer that positive thinkers get positive results if you work hard and HUSTLE harder…. And years later it got even bigger and better for Beyonce. She headlined her very first pepsi half time Superbowl show that she talked about during her first pepsi commercial.
And this right here is one of the many reasons why Beyonce inspires me because once she sets her mind to do something she gets it done.
I absolutely loooooooove her!!!!
