Alicia Keys was spotted in a long red mermaid dress being escorted inside the Superdome by her hubby Swizz Beatz to perform the National Anthem at the 2013 Superbowl game.
The 14-time Grammy winner decided to play it safe and avoid any lip-synching controversy by taking a different approach and singing a slower version of the National Anthem while playing the piano ….
I give her props for trying something different however her performance just didn’t do it for me. I was expecting her to blow this performance through the roof especially with all controversy surrounding Beyonce’s national anthem performance.
I was expecting A Keys to take this performance to the next level…

Alicia Keys isn’t into lip synching. Her body looks great and I love the short hair on her. She sounded good, per usual.
