Frankie of the Frankie & Neffie Show & mother to singer Keyshia Cole, had a tearful moment this weekend at the 2009 BET HIP HOP awards. During her interview on the red carpet Frankie seemed to be her loving, crazy self the world has grown to love. But after giving a shout out to her daughter Keyshia Cole that’s when things got some what emotional for the reality star.
“Shout out to Keyshia she’s the one with all the money. I’mma need her to give me a loan”
After that comment someone asked if Keyshia was supporting her financially and Frankie set the record straight:
“She’s been taking care of me since (inaudible) don’t get it twisted!!! Matter of fact, she’s the reason why I got my self- esteem back and my hope. When I got out of prison, If it wasn’t for her, I would not be walking the red carpet. Shout out to God. My baby gave me so much encouragement, no matter how I look. “Mama you are beautiful. Mama you are fine”.
I think I’m one of the few people who actually can relate to Frankie, I’ve said this before I will say it again I’m a “rider” for Frankie. Don’t get me wrong she can be a little over the top at times but Frankie has a good heart and has come a long way. You can tell by the way she interacts with her kid on the show. Speaking of the BET Awards rapper Jim Jones decided to do it Detroit Cabaret Style and snuck his bottle Moet in the show. Comedian Lil Duval twitted the picture below of the rapper pouring him a drank during the show LMAO!!!! Thank god BET didn’t sit Frankie next him during the show. Yall already know them two together plus alcohol, would have set that show off I could see it now Kanye West & Lil Mama wouldn’t had nothing on them LOL!!!!!!
